Teams are kept to rosters of 10 players when possible. We do this to insure that the continuous quarter rule is met. This policy also keeps teams to a manageable coaching size. The league rule states: “Each player on a team must play one continuous full quarter during the game. A continuous full quarter is defined as the beginning of a quarter through its completion”. (Rule does not apply to “AA”).
If there aren’t enough girls or boys to form single gender teams in the “AA” & “A” Divisions, team’s are made Co-Ed and play in the Boy’s Division.
Players may move up a Division – not down, unless special League approval is given.
Players are not eligible to play for a school and a church team.
A copy of a birth certificate is required by the League for B, C, D and EE and EE Divisions.
Membership at Park Road Baptist is not required to play or coach.
Teams practice once a week (Tuesday) for one hour starting in November.
Games are held on Saturday's in various church gyms beginning in December.
Games end in March with a single-elimination tournament, (“AA” exempt).
Brief devotions are held prior to each practice. Games open with prayer.
